Description

After the screening of the documentary film “From House No. 37: Sadeq Hedayat,” the directors Sam Kalantari and Mohsen Shahrnazdar will join Ramin Jahanbegloo, Homa Katouzian, Marta Simidchieva, and Mohamad Tavakoli for a discussion of Hedayat’s enigmatic life. The most prominent Persian writer of the twentieth century, Sadeq Hedayat (1903-1951) was the author of many short stories and novels, including the celebrated work The Blind Owl (1936).   A reception at 5:00 precedes the screening of the film at 6:00 p.m.
